Selected amongst 41 other projects from eight designers, Happy Design Studio’s livery, available in many color options, became the new paint scheme for the TBM 850 production line in 2011. Produced in a dozen copies, this special edition livery called “waves of time” was ordered on the occasion of Daher Socata’s 100 years of the historic aircraft continuous production, initially created by Morane Saulnier in 1911. Above left is the original ivory, orange and almond green proposal, with the old Morane Saulnier’s logo on the wings, on the tail, as well as on the horizontal stabilizers. On the right are the bright colors scheme chosen by Daher Socata for its American customers.
Produite à une douzaine d’exemplaires, cette édition spéciale du turbopropulseur TBM 850 habillée d’une livrée nommée «vagues de temps», représente les 100 ans de production continue de l’avionneur historique Morane Saulnier, auquel succéda la société Daher Socata. La livrée d’Happy Design Studio a été sélectionnée parmi 41 projets proposés par huit designers. Ce modèle disponible avec de nombreuses options de couleurs devînt le nouveau schéma de peinture pour la ligne de production TBM 850 en 2011. Ci-dessus à gauche, la proposition originale ivoire, orange et vert amande, avec en filigrane l’ancien logo Morane Saulnier plaqué sur la voilure, le plan horizontal fixe et sur les gouvernes de profondeur. A droite, les couleurs vives choisies par Daher Socata pour sa clientèle Américaines.
