Brabus expands into private jet customisation Car and yacht personalisation specialist Brabus is turning its talents to the private jet market. Brabus Private Aviation now offers cabin design and manufacturing services for new executive jets, as well as redesign and customisation services for aircraft already in operation. It is focusing on aircraft such as the Bombardier Global Express and Challenger families, the Dassault Falcon series and larger business liners. To implement this concept Brabus has forged an alliance with three partners from the aviation industry. Sourcing, purchasing and aircraft management services are offered in cooperation with PrivatAir. Aircraft completion and redesign will take place at RUAG Aviation’s facilities in Munich, Germany. Finally, Happy Design Studio will create detailed and unique livery designs for customers. Brabus Private Aviation has already presented two design concepts – Elegance (pictured top) and Sportive (pictured left) – for the Bombardier Global Express. Both represent the signature Brabus style. The “exclusive, bright” Elegance design combines cream-coloured Brabus fine leather, Alcantara and high-end wood. Attention to detail extends to the precise colour coordination of all interior components, including an elaborately designed wood trim with high-gloss finish. The Sportive design features black and grey leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre for a “fresh and progressive” appearance. The carbon fibre elements and the seat design with contrasting red seams are inspired by exclusive sports cars. Meanwhile, the IFE system enables passengers to communicate and use multimedia devices such as the Apple iPad and iPhone, with custom docking and charging stations. The same multimedia devices can also be used in the Brabus 800 iBusiness sedan. The aircraft exterior concepts come in black, white and grey and all feature a carbon fibre design and specially painted winglets.
