BOMBARDIER* LEARJET 75* Aircraft World Premiere at EBACE with New Livery Designed by HAPPY DESIGN STUDIO Happy Design Studio, a clear leader in bespoke aircraft liveries, has been selected by Bombardier Business Aircraft to collaborate on the crafting of the next-generation demonstrator aircraft paint schemes for its entire family of Learjet*, Challenger* and Global* aircraft. A highlight at the EBACE static display is Bombardier’s Learjet 75 jet featuring the brand new paint scheme. Didier Wolff is not new to designing exciting paint schemes and boasts a strong track record across various aircraft models. “Overall space for creation is naturally very different when working on a business jet for a private owner or for an airline. For Bombardier, we collaborated with their Business Aircraft design and marketing team, and together we developed a new visual identity to not only encompass the Bombardier brand, but also the separate Learjet, Challenger and Global brands,” said WOLFF. “We rose to the challenge, and what you can see on the static display at EBACE is just the introduction as we worked to create a scheme that would work across the different size of business jets in the Bombardier business aircraft family.”

Business jet owners who dare to be different and are prepared to flaunt it can now turn to customised automobile specialist Brabus. Known for its tailor-made luxury dream cars, the German company has launched Brabus Private Aviation (PrivatAir stand 1051) to offer exclusive business jet cabin designs, matched with "extraordinary" exterior paint jobs. "We have been approached by a number of customers asking us to design and outfit their private jets," says Bodo Buschmann, CEO of Brabus Group.
Brabus says it is focusing on the Bombardier Global Express and Challenger families, as well as the Dassault Aviation Falcon series. Here at the show it is presenting two design concepts, called Elegance and Sportive, for the Global Express. Brabus is entering the aviation market in partnership with PrivatAir, and completions will be carried out at the facilities of Ruag Aviation in Munich. Happy Design Studio will provide the "unique exterior designs that let every jet designed by Brabus Private Aviation stand out from the crowd," says the company.

Happy Design Studio has created the unique and original livery for the Dassault Rafale that is playing a spectacular leading role part in the flying display at the 2011 Saint-Dizier Airshow prior to making a scheduled appearance at the Paris Airshow. Happy Design Studio is highly respected within the aerospace industry for creating and designing stunning aircraft livery designs, not just for military aircraft but also for commercial aircraft, business aircraft, private jets and helicopters.
The livery that appears on the Dassault Rafale at Saint-Dizier (and subsequently le Bourget) shows the character “le petit Prince” written by French author Saint Exupery. He served in the French Army at Base 113 at Saint Dizier, the current home of the largest number of Dassault Rafale's in France. Happy Design Studio were invited to create an aircraft livery for the Rafale to celebrate 30,000 cumulative hours of flying, by the aircraft, from the base. Happy Design Studio Designer Didier Wolff saw the opportunity to pay tribute to Saint Exupery by representing "le petit prince" on the aircraft livery and has subsequently created the eye catching design that can be seen on the Rafale.
